This spicy pretzel treat started off in the tasting room of Rosella's Vineyard & Winery, located in the Applegate Valley appellation of Southern Oregon. While Rex was making the wines, Sandy would lovingly make these delicious spicy pretzels for the tasting room guests that would stop by either as a part of wine tasting the region or to support the family winery by purchasing wine. Although the wines were delicious, it became clear that the spicy little morsels that Sandy created were also a hit!
It wasn't long after many requested to purchase Spretzels that Sandy decided that it might be time to share the tasty treat with the world. After coming up with a way to package and label the crunchy snack, Sandy found no shortage of locations wanting to share this unique version of a great American munchie!
